We're here to provide a voice for local residents and ensure that Cheddar, Axbridge and Shipham are not overlooked now that the whole of Somerset is run from Taunton.

We are the opposition, holding the Lib Dems who run the council to account, challenging policies and budget decisions that affect our area and feeding back your views.

In short, we want:-

- Safer roads and sensible traffic management
- Thriving businesses and schools
- A (much) better environment for wildlife and for our children
- An end to massive, unchecked development
- A return to good financial management and value for money from council tax

We're not populists looking for headlines or scrapping things without understanding them; nor do we think that continually putting up Council Tax is the answer. We just want quiet, sensible local government, honesty, transparency and accountability from the council.

We take time off work, put on a suit and attend their meetings when we can, in order to provide a voice for you and your family.

We also get out and about in Cheddar, Axbridge and Shipham to meet as many residents, families and businesses as we can. If you see us in the street, please stop us and have a chat.
