Strawberry Line extension by Kings of Wessex

Work has started on the next section of the Strawberry Line, thanks to the efforts of the Strawberry Line Society. The route will include a link near Kings of Wessex in Cheddar, extending between the reservoir and the new housing estate. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.

Cheddar, Axbridge and Shipham Graham Godwin-Pearson is passionate about active transport. He says, "Over the year, the Strawberry Line has become a fabulous asset for our communities. The new extension will help in so many ways with access and participation. I look forward to using it myself."
