With Notting Hill way now 30 mph (a campaign that has taken years to come to fruition), the council have now installed a speed indicator just outside Badgworth Barns, which is at the top of the hill before Smith Brewer.
Local campaigner Graham Godwin-Pearson welcomes the development: "The speed indicator will remind people of the speed they are doing. Notting Hill Way has been a rat run for years and seen many accidents. The new, lit sign is adjacent to a children's nursery and a stone's throw from Badgworth Arena, so I would consider it to be the perfect location for the device.
"It will give drivers a reminder and cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders the confidence they need to share the road."
